Participants practice digital skills at a training held by SONSA in Somalia.
As part of ReCIPE, SONSA:
- Advocates for improved data protection and digital governance in Somalia.
- Fosters digital inclusion.
- Provides trainings and enables safe, equitable access to online tools - assisting in and empowering others to participate in human rights advocacy.
Under the ReCIPE Project, SONSA has created an extensive hub to help Somali Civil Society operate securely and safely online - providing guides, useful tools, and clear information in both Somali and English.
“In Somalia, where digital infrastructure is still developing, the ReCIPE project is crucial for empowering civil society and ensuring the protection of digital rights in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.”
Mohamed Adeed
